Pheasant Hunt

Attention everyone!! Fishpoint Wilidlife Association and Muzzy Pheasant Farms is putting on a fundraising pheasant hunt!! The hunt will be on March 3, 2018 at 9:00 A.M. Please be aware that there is a maximum of 30 hunters for this hunt. Coffee and Doughnuts will be provided in the morning.   Welcome to Fish Point Wildlife Association!

The Saginaw Bay Region, including the Fish Point area, has traditionally been used intensively by waterfowl hunters. As management efforts resulted in more waterfowl using the Wildlife area, hunter numbers steadily increased. When overcrowding became a problem, the managed hunting concept was implemented in 1971. Today the area totals 3,631 acres and public use of the area consists of hunting, trapping, bird watching, and fishing.

Oregano Pheasant

  • 2 Pheasants, cut into serving pieces
  • All-purpose flour
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup or butter or margarine
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can of cream of mushroom soup with roasted garlic and herbs, undiluted
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can of cream of chicken soup, undiluted
  • 1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, rinsed and drained
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • Salt and pepper to taste
