At the summer membership meeting the following were elected as officers for 2019;

2019 Grand Prize Raffle
 

This year’s raffle will be a bit different than in the past. Instead of having three prizes, this year we are having a 10-GUN RAFFLE! TICKETS ARE NOW AVAILABLE!!!

Here are the details;

 

  • There will be only 600 tickets will sold. Tickets will require a donation of $20.00 per ticket. You need not be present to win.
  • The drawing will be held at the FPWA Annual Banquet on September 7th, 2019.
  • There will be 10 tickets drawn and prizes will be awarded in the order listed on the tickets. (see list below).
  • Tickets are available from any FPWA Board Member or can be obtained by contacting Keven Hollingshead atabaduck49@yahoo.com or by phone at 810/252-0847

Blue Cheese Venison Burgers
 
  • 1 Pound ground venison
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Mix all ingredients thoroughly but gently and shape into 4 patties. Grill over coals ( for about 4 minutes per side) or until burgers have reached desired doneness. Serve on grilled hamburger buns with lots of crisp lettuce, tomato slices, and mayonnaise
